We walked into this local coffee shop looking for a tasty beverage and walked away terribly offended. My husband and I walked up to the counter where an older woman asked him what he was having. He ordered a single espresso and before I could give my order, she turned around and walked to the back area. She reappeared and made his espresso. She came to the register and gave his total. I interrupted and mentioned that I hadn't ordered yet. She stared for a second, rolled her eyes at me and walked away. In the middle of making my beverage, she turned around and with an attitude said "thanks a lot". My husband was very confused and I had to explain to him that she was upset, I assume, because she had to draw the espresso twice. Absolutely no reason for this treatment, especially since I didn't mind waiting to begin with!

I used to love this coffee shop, but now the ambiance is very poor and coffee is horrible. Baristas are strange and teeter on being rude and aggressive. The espresso is flavorless, and tastes watery and incorrectly made. They have an OK espresso machine, but I really recommend going else I. The loud Metallica music really spoil s what sliver of coffee shop atmosphere may have remained. This shop should go out of business within the next year.

I used to swear by this place. Nice, clean local. This year I went by three time. First an older woman who was slow, then the hipster dude who was more interested in planning a meet up than my order, then today the California surfer guy "No decaf my bad!" Really? That is customer service? If you need Internet and your hotel does not provide it opt for wireless, using their computers is farm more costly, they are charging like it is the 1990s. I like to support local businesses over chain stores in the keys but cannot support this one. And I wish I could.

Dropped this coffee shop in downtown Key West... There is both indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered a Mocha, cafe con leche and 2 butter croissants. The butter croissants are huge, I thought I could one by myself but couldn't. The coffee and mocha were great. Friendly service...

Not the friendliest place I've been to. Atmosphere is lacking. Coffee was served luke-warm & tasted weak despite being the dark roast. Chairs are not comfortable; not really a place you want to hang out. They include 2 hours of wifi with a $5 purchase. Computers are available for $.30/min. ($3 minimum). This place was recommended to me by a local which made it that much more disappointing. On the wall is a sign that states, "Our Goal is Customer Satisfaction." They need to work at that.

This is less than 2 years late but wanted to say something. I had an old friend who worked here who usually went by her nickname Allie (mane of her daughter too)but yes I got to be a friend with her for a short while n have lost regular contact some she left San Diego area and for whatever reason went out to FL working. I can't even recall if her kids were with her but I do know she's a very hard worker and I owed a good review to her long ago. Sry Allie if you no longer have ties to this shop but it was nice to see you. Plus of course the one and only time I got to be in Florida I was mostly in Orlando on 2013. Anyways hah sigh, breakfast is usually the time for lots of sweets n carbs lol, n there are times I overload on internet time. I give into croissants or French toast if I'm having those bad cravings or yes even blended sweetened coffees or lattes since I'm not into dark or black coffee or espressos at all. Try a green or black unsweetened tea and maybe the a veggie omelet no cheeses if you are trying to eat healthy n no processed sugar or dairy lol. Sorry Allie I didn't compliment you right away since I lost your misplaced your message for a long time and I was going through my own things. Lol anyways if anyone here still has contact with her let her know I wrote this. I don't think she looks at her yelp much either but yes sry Allie n wish u well you're busting ur butt all the time n you're beautiful hehe. Take care and I'll try to do the same.

The coffee was a pleasant surprise for Key West and offered a choice of an Italian roast or a sweet Mexican light roast. They gave us samples of the coffee as well as a cold drip brew that was very smooth and delicious.

Very good cup of coffee. Had a shot of espresso with it. The atmosphere is very relaxing and laid back. Did not have any food so can't comment on that. This is a much better option for a coffee stop than the Starbucks around the corner.

Relaxed atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Free internet with any purchase (and lots of outlets). The food is good - smallish portions but decently priced considering it's in the middle of a tourist area. I like the breakfasts there. And they make a great soy chai latte.

If you thought one person talking on their phone was annoying thry 3 people on skype all speaking different languages.... SHUT THE HELL UP!!. They probably would not understand... $6.35 for a Large iced soy mocha. For a non soy coffee drinker that is a normal price. Coffee is good by the way. They seem to have a good selection of pastry etc. Not bad when it is quiet.

As a lover of all things coffee, I have high expectations when visiting a local coffee shop. This particular coffee shop did not meet those expectations, but was not in any way a terrible experience. When visiting a coffee shop, I always enjoy sitting in comfortable arm chairs or sofas. This location had plenty of floor space, but the only seating consisted of somewhat uncomfortable chairs with tiny tables. Oh and also a few computer stations in case you want to surf the net while you sip your coffee. The establishment was clean, and mostly deserted. Unlike a few of my fellow yelpers, I did not encounter rude staff. Bonus point for me! Now for the coffee. I ordered a Cafe de Leche (my first one ever) and it was ok. Not remarkable, not outstanding. It could be that this particular coffee drink is not my favorite or it could have been made poorly. Since it was my first, I wouldn't know the difference. So when choosing a drink here, choose something familiar and don't take my word for it.

This is a great location to get away from the afternoon heat and take in a refreshing ice coffee.

Fresh made for you food. Michael, the owner, is very careful about quality of food and service. David, barista, and Cynthia the cook are attentive to all special requests. They even have cold brewed coffee! Reasonable prices.

Sippin' is a cute little coffee house located right off of the Duval strip. There are a variety of pastries and breakfast options and, of course, coffee. I went for the iced coffee the day that we were here and it was really tasty. The atmosphere is great for relaxing and reading the paper or just chit chatting. Definitely a good spot for a cup o' Joe in KW!

Fabulous fabulous fabulous! I was able to get a delish coffee to go that tasted just like the place I go to home in Dallas. Cynthia, who was working at the counter this morning was so super friendly, and when She accidentally over charged me by a few bucks she came out to find me to refund my $. I also bought a hand knitted purse to send to a friend's daughter that the owner, michael's mom made. So cute!! I didn't stay to drink my coffee as I was out for a morning walk, but it is a very spacious coffee shop with yummy looking treats and wifi if you bring your computers. Everything about this place was appealing and I will definitely be back tomorrow morning. 2nd morning in a row and I'm back. The coffee was just as wonderful (I had 2 larges.... Which I never do) and the bread that Michael (the Owner) makes from scratch for the sandwiches is amazing. I've had my share of homemade bread before but this was something special. I wish it was sold by the loaf. I would buy some to take home for sure. I sat for a while outside, drank my coffee talked to Michael, Cynthia and their friend Bob, and watched the world go by. A wonderful way to spend the morning!!

I went to this cafe with my sis for breakfast also we ordered burritos( $8 for each), but I am disappointed because it's not transnational burrito and nothing special. Anyway, the service were good, so if you just want to take a rest, you could go here!

Walked over to this place to grab coffee and a little something to eat from a friendly local coffee shop instead of the big natl chain nearby. ..big mistake! Counter guy was unbelievably rude and offensive. Even dropped an F bomb standing right in front of my family at the counter. The rest of my family walked out and went to the AWESOME Donut shop next door. Since I already ordered I took the high road and waited it out. What I got was a descent latte and a bfast sandwich on a microwaved croissant. It was big but I didn't even eat half of it and went over to the donut shop and got a donut instead. Save yourself some time and frustration and AVOID this place!

Saw quite a few poor reviews and I was very surprised. Two of our group ate here and really enjoyed it, so much that all 4 of us went back the next day. The service was excellent and the food was fresh and there was a lot of it. BF and I split egg cheese bacon everything bagel.. bagel was fresh, eggs were super fluffy and it was a huge sandwich. The other two ordered the same thing they had the day before, vegetarian burrito and another breakfast burrito. As we were leaving one of the workers was outside and asked if we wanted any to go coffee. We almost ate here a 3rd time but thought we would try elsewhere and we should have eaten here again instead.

I had a wonderful experience at this mom & pop shop! Michael provide me and my boyfriend with spectacular customer service. The sandwiches are to die for and the coffee best in the keys!! I'm a fan and I'll be returning!

The guy working the front was very rude, and was muttering under his breath as we cancelled our food order of eggs and bean soup after 45 min of waiting. We didn't say anything or even ask for our money back and still no nice words. They microwave the food to warm it and the place is understaffed. Sloppy and poor experience. Not a very fun morning!

A good place to linger and do some surfing while waiting for a flight or to check into your hotel room. People were friendly, scones were good and almond milk was a plus!

This place is AMAZING! I work at 'the most commonly known coffee shop ever' (ew) so because of this, I have developed quite the taste for good coffee. I can safely say that this place ranks very high on my top favorite coffee shops! My favorite feature not only being the local 'mom and pop' atmosphere but also the fact that they offer almond milk! They are so nice here and very accommodating. I can't wait to take another trip back to key west to visit this awesome cafe.

This cafe might have been better at some point in time, but that's definitely changed. I came by to do some homework today and ended rushing through without a reasonable option to continue my business at the cafe. I purchased an iced tea and a scone, totalling $4.25. Just 75 cents shy of the minimum $5 purchase. Fine. I cough up an extra dollar for a banana. As I'm working on a paper, I notice my Internet hour coming to a close. I walk up to the counter, just about to order a smoothie and the employee notes that each minute after my first will be 10 cents. RIP-OFF! I walk back to my table and leave. I will save your time and taste buds. So, here's what you need to know before you go: -The movie theatre is next door, so parking is a challenge. -You need to purchase $5 or more in order to have a maximum of one hour Internet allowance. After that, it's 10 cents per minute. No exceptions. Not even if I wanted to buy a smoothie. They would not extend the maximum one hour allotment. I could understand the whole limitations thing if this were an elementary school library or a fitness center, but no options to keep you in business is a big no-no in today's economy. Thanks, but no thanks. P.S., A lock on the bathroom door would be a great feature. I'm just sayin'...

Skip it. Way too slow. Even their wifi is slow, but if you're in Key West with a cruise, you'll end up spending all day waiting on your food. They got two stars cause they were super nice, but awfully slow.

I wanted to get out of my new place and have some privacy. I wanted to write something, ANYTHING. So I left my temporary digs and walked around trying to find a place open late on a Sunday Night with Wireless (sorry... I think there should be a movement to change WiFi to something else. That word makes me cringe for some reason.) and that would accept Mr Poop, my Bulldog Companion. And walk I did... Until I found this coffee-shop called Sippin'; and here is where I am writing this report. This is a coffee-shop's coffee-shop. Totally sporting the indie vibe complete with local art on the walls, couches, computers ready to go if you don't have one, quaint tables and a Girl from Flint, MI. (What... Didn't you know that all REAL coffee shops have an Indie-type Flint chick working there?) There is plenty of tables, and outside seating. So I'm sipping on a coffee. For Three Bucks of purchase you can get free wireless. The coffee prices are actually not bad considering everything is more expensive on this island. Truth is, the prices here are comparable to Ferndale/Royal Oak where I just left and that is Cheaper than, say, Starbucks here I dunno what else there is to say, there are plenty of outlets, and I'm even hooked up to a LAN line which they seem to have available to plug in at my leisure. I found my coffee place to chill when I'm not at home. Cool beans. ;p

We parked ourselves here after we checked out of the place we were staying because we didn't want to go to the airport and sit around. They have wireless internet that you can use if you make a purchase. They have plenty of places to sit including outside. We got a bagel with cream cheese that we were able to get toasted. I heard the waitress say while we were there that they make everything fresh in the morning, and she personally brings all orders to your table. We stayed there for a couple of hours, and never got any dirty looks, that some people give when you are looking to hang out for a little bit. There were never more than a few other people and this made our farewell to Key West a little more enjoyable, than if we were to just hang out at the airport.

Erin at Sippin' Internet Café made me a Medium Iced Americano that got my attention for its depth without bitterness and its great iciness. Two outside tables, one empty just for me - Yea! I had a banana while others were choosing the tasty looking pastries. It's an internet café, too, though I didn't need that for this visit. This will be my Café away from home. A little dark inside, but humming just like an excellent local café should. So glad to find it after a couple of days dependence on An International Chain.

Good food, great atmosphere, friendly workers, overall a wonderful experience. After being frustrated by the Starbucks around the corner I decided to try this place out, and I will definitely come back. Try have a small staff so I could see it being a bit of a wait on food when it gets busy but it's worth the wait.

I'm kicking myself for not walking further up the street to Starbucks, which has cheaper tea and a thousand times better atmosphere. The atmosphere is just awful primarily because of all the bright lights. About 5-10 minutes after we sat down, the barista came over and started sweeping up around us. We were there 2 hours before closing. She seemed like a nice girl just clueless that she wasn't making us feel particularly welcome. Then she bent over to sweep up the dust, and I ended up with a view of her backside in my face. The Wal-Mart style lighting was killing me so I decided to get a to-go cup and enjoy the tea in the comfort of my hotel room.

I needed a computer to confirm some money transfers to my account, and this internet cafe was literally down the street from our resort. I walked in with a mission, and my computer needs were met immediately. After my worries and duties were finished, I decided to grab a cup of coffee to enjoy with my boyfriend and friends, and WOW! Best cup of coffee I have had in a long time. I tried my friend's mocha made with soy and almond flavoring, and my mouth is still watering at the memory of it! Delicious coffee and extremely friendly staff. Made our vacation that much more special.

We visited this place while shopping on Duval street....needed to get afternoon caffeine fix. Very spacious with plenty of computers for those who want to surf the internet while sipping coffee. We got two ice lattes and a brownie...they were perfect for an afternoon beverage & snack. Did not order any sandwiches but the menu looked appetizing. I did browse the internet for a few minutes to check my email. The computer was fast and it only cost me $2 for a about 10 minutes of usage.

Latte was pretty uninspiring but the clerk was extra nice. Seems to be more of a place to get Internet access when you don't have a computer that a cafe. The Starbucks around the corner is. . .well, a Starbucks, but the coffee was better.

Good coffee and food items. Friendly staff. Nice old-house refurb. My fav kind of coffee shop. Just right. I have been here numerous times and always get good coffee and service. Large size cups could be larger. Presently the large is more a medium size, as I know it.
